Tour De- Cure 2010

June 12th, 2010 was my 5th year riding 100 miles for diebetes in Brigham City, Utah. I got 300+ dollars in pledges this year and loved the ride. The Wind was bad but kepted the rain away until the very end. We had a much smaller team this year, but raised 8,000+ dollars for the cure.

I now sit at 1100 miles for the year. Mine and a Friends goal is 3000 for the year. We can do it if the rain slows a bit.

A NEW YEAR of Cycling. I am so excited to get back on the Bike. I have been riding my trainer and have reached only 270 miles so far. I'll keep going if its cold outside on my Tariner. I also started the Power 90 X program by Tong Horton. Its great!! Should be in great shape by May. I am going to do the Tour De Cure again in Brigham City on June 12th. Thsi will be my 5th year in a row.

Lots of earth quakes around the world. Hatti, Chili and Turkey all above a 6.0 with Hatti at the top with a 8.8. Hope we are safe here in Utah. We are doing a Mock disaster in our neighbor this weekend an dI hope it goes well and we all learn something that will help us prepare.

Year almost Over!

This has been a good year for Biking and i have almost hit 2500 miles. Maybe only 25 miles left. I did not really intend on doing that many miles, but have been gettin up early some mornings and ridding the trainer.

Mom and Dad came home from Ireland last Wednesday night. It was a bitter sweet moment and It's good to have them home again.

Looking forward to this 2010 year of Biking and all other activities. I plan on riding in the Lance Armstrong cancer ride Ocotber 9th 2010. I might get a new bike this coming spring. So excited to pick one out.

Last month I road 72 miles to raise monies for wheel chairs. Enough money was raised to buy two very nice electric wheel chairs for children that family could not aford to buy. The ride was from emigaration canyon to east canyon and over to a small town named Henifer. There was about 4000 feet of inclined buy beautiful country to enjoy.
