Year almost Over!

This has been a good year for Biking and i have almost hit 2500 miles. Maybe only 25 miles left. I did not really intend on doing that many miles, but have been gettin up early some mornings and ridding the trainer.

Mom and Dad came home from Ireland last Wednesday night. It was a bitter sweet moment and It's good to have them home again.

Looking forward to this 2010 year of Biking and all other activities. I plan on riding in the Lance Armstrong cancer ride Ocotber 9th 2010. I might get a new bike this coming spring. So excited to pick one out.

We also did some 4 wheel driving to antoher arch called Gemini Bridge. We saw a great star show the first night in the sky and a terential rain storm after getting off the river Friday. I had a great time with the boys.
Alpine Medical Ride for Wheel Chairs. See how green our mountians are this year.

Last month I road 72 miles to raise monies for wheel chairs. Enough money was raised to buy two very nice electric wheel chairs for children that family could not aford to buy. The ride was from emigaration canyon to east canyon and over to a small town named Henifer. There was about 4000 feet of inclined buy beautiful country to enjoy.

Alpine LOOP July 24th.

Last Friday I and my Friend Jayson Conley took on the Alpine Loop and actually road up it quit easlily. I think the ride up Nebo helped strenthen our legs. I really enjoy the sceenery while riding and is why I would never be a good racer. I the picture of me in the BYU Jersey you can see what a sight it is of Sundace Skii resort and the back side of Timanogas Mountian. I love to ride and wish I could more often. I just hit 1500 miles for the year.

Summer Fun & Ride

Life is good. I am still in one peice. And I am not planning another surgery. As a family we went to Lagoon last week and had fun. I never thought I would have fun just enjoying watching the others do the rides. Zach took off with cousins and friends and had a ball. While I road only a few rides. My Anxiety just does not like to play on rides so i took it easy this time at Lagoon.
I road the Nebo Loop last Saturday a total of 70 miles. 26 of those miles was up hill to 9342 feet. Just about 5000 feet total climb. I feel pretty good about myself doing this ride. It makes the Alpine loop seem just a bit easier now. I think I'll do the Alpine loop a coule more times this year. My Friend Jayson wants to do the Nebo Loop again, just us maybe in September, like Labor Day. I think I just might do it.
Harry Potter just came to the Theaters again. Me and Zach plan on going twice Saturday. We have been watching all the others for the last two weeks on DVD. I can't believe time has gone so fast and now the sixth book is now a movie. I read up to the 5th book and only made it in about 200 pages and just could not get into it. But, the movies have continued to interest me.
My yard this year has disapointed me in some ways. I hope I can do something more with it next year. Dead trees, tree roots, weeds, weeds and more weeds have continued to enoy me. Can I say what I really want for my yard? I want a cement pad on the north side of the house with a nice shed and edging around the entire yard. I would also like enough money to turn our garden into a nice tropical garden. Ofcourse this would need to beinside of a very large green house. Other than those few things I need a new awsome BIKE!

I am registered for the Tour de-Cure for my forth year in a row. I have rasied 300 dollars for this ride and hope I can finish the 100 miles in less than 6 hours. This is a fund raiser for the American Diabetes Association to fund the cure for diabetes. Thanks to all who havw supported me the past years and this year too.

600 mile marker.

As of this last week I reached 600 miles so far this year. I am well on my way to 2000 plus miles maybe even hitting 3000. That would be the day.

The picture of I and Zach was at 9mile canyon. May 1st. We saw many Indian petrogliphs. So very cool it was and all the cliffs. We even saw an Indian grainery, made out of adobi brick.
The picture on my bike was taken the first ride of the year (about March 15th and it was very cold. I think about 33 degrees.
